Context An enterprise travel provider needed to unify complex bookings (GDS/NDC, rail, hotels) and modernize operations without disrupting existing on‑prem deployments. The goal was a platform that ships fast, scales predictably, and opens a clean integration surface for partners — with a cloud edition to unlock analytics at scale. What we delivered • Orders domain owned end‑to‑end (create, issue, rebook, refund) with idempotent workflows and clear SLAs. • Financial Profile service powering settlements, invoicing, reconciliation, and audit trails. • Corporate UI in React with a reusable component library for policy/admin/profile management. • DevOps foundations: containerized services, CI/CD pipelines, environment config, SLOs/observability, performance budgets. • BI with Metabase + MariaDB: semantic metrics, scheduled transformations, RBAC; cloud analytics on Snowflake (raw → stage → core → marts) with cost guardrails.
